Our Company was established in August 2000, and Incorporated as a Company, on the 21st of February 2002.
Starting as a small sole proprietorship 25 years ago, our company has proudly grown into a leading locally owned diagnostic provider.
Over the past 25 years, we've not only expanded our reach but also evolved into a dynamic group with the addition of three new affiliates, namely: The Production Unit, Health Systems Supplies Rwanda Limited and Zakayo Industries Limited.
Human Diagnostics Uganda Limited is a premier distributor of medical laboratory diagnostic instruments, accessories, reagents, rapid diagnostic test kits, and laboratory consumables. We began with a single main product line – Clinical Chemistry – and have since diversified to offer the broadest range of products in the market.
At the core of our philosophy is a commitment to continuous improvement. We believe that maintaining a leadership position requires consistently offering the latest, best, and highest quality technology, providing greater value than our competitors.
As Human Diagnostics Uganda Limited celebrates its 25th anniversary, we reflect on a remarkable journey of expanding quality healthcare diagnostics across the nation. From humble beginnings to serving over 1,500 clients, we’ve worked tirelessly to ensure accurate and accessible diagnostic services reach even the most rural communities in Uganda. This milestone is a testament to our enduring commitment to excellence, innovation, and inclusivity in healthcare.
Over the years, we’ve harnessed technology and forged strong partnerships with the Ministry of Health and major International stakeholders to tackle major health issues like HIV/AIDS, TB, and Sickle Cell. Our ISO Certiication further reflects our pursuit of quality and reliability. These achievements have only been possible through the dedication of our professional and compassionate team, whose efforts continue to drive our mission forward.
